Doctoral Programmes in Europe – Their Role in a Knowledge Based Economy

Following up the outcomes of the Plenary Session 1, this round table will focus on doctoral programmes in a knowledge based economy: structures the programmes should adopt to achieve desired functions. A function of particular interest will be intersectorial mobility of doctoral candidates and fresh doctorate holders and linkage between academia and practise it constitutes.
