Policy Research
The workgroup “Policy Research“ was created at Eurodoc AGM in Poland (20-25 March 2012). Based on the approach of the Directorate-General of Research and Innovation of the European Commission, this workgroup proposes an interactive research on EU policies in order to, according to one of the principal objectives of Eurodoc, provide valuable information to our policy officer, to the other workgroups and to the general stakeholders.
The first aim of Policy Research Workgroup is to diffuse and analyse existing EU policies using Internet-based tools provided by ERA (European Research Area),ERC (European Research Council), Marie Curie Actions, People’s advisory group of FP7, etc. Secondly, the workgroup will also propose training courses on EU Proposals Writing and EU Project Managing. Finally, the workgroup will provide various articles on the current situation of early stage researchers based on Eurodoc Survey and on DG Research policies. Furthermore, we intend to publish the Eurodoc “Policy Paper on Doctoral Education“.
In addition, the Research Policy Workgroup aims at creating an interactive network of associations which contribute to research policy making.
